SYMPOSIUM PROGRAM
Keynote speakers Judy Watson and Nicolas Rothwell will lead discussion on the issues that are challenging and invigorating the Indigenous art industry. This dedicated symposium of national significance will inform and inspire Indigenous artists, industry professionals, academics, activists, students, collectors and media. Topics include: Indigenous art or artists who are Indigenous; historical continuity and contemporary innovation; and Indigenous art from production to market.
Presented by Arts Queensland in partnership with James Cook University School of Creative Arts.
