SUBSCRIBE AND WIN A CRAIG KOOMEETA CROCODILE

Anyone who signs up to receive the CIAF newsletter from today until Thursday 30 July goes into the draw to win a limited edition Craig Koomeeta crocodile – a signature piece from this leading Queensland artist. Subscribe now.

Craig Koomeeta, of the Wik-Alkan people in Aurukun, Cape York, carved his first crocodile at age 18 and in 2001 won the Wandjuk Marika Memorial Three-Dimensional Award of the 18th Telstra National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Art Awards. This aluminium crocodile is a miniature replica of a larger piece and is one of an edition of 500 created at Urban Art Projects’ foundry in Brisbane.
